Scott Christensen, President and CEO
Scott Christensen brings over 28 years’ experience in the medical device industry to the company. Before joining Dynatherm in early 2005, Scott served as EVP Sales, Marketing & Business Development at Hoana Medical. This early stage venture is developing a "smart bed" coverlet for the early detection of a deteriorating clinical condition for hospitalized patients in the med/surg units using proprietary, non-contact measuring technology. Prior to Hoana, he served as President of now public Oridion Medical, a leader in respiratory monitoring in the OR / ICU and other healthcare environments. Additionally, Scott served in various management roles at Nellcor Puritan Bennett, CDI 3M HealthCare and Medtronic Physio-Control. Scott received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Davis and his Masters of Business Administration from the Graduate School of Management − University of California, Irvine.

Kevin McCurdy, Senior Director – Finance & Business Operations
Kevin McCurdy brings to the company over 20 years of finance experience in the healthcare field, including positions with firms in the pharmaceutical, disease management and medical device industries. Prior to joining Dynatherm in early 2007, Kevin served as Director of Finance at Hoana Medical, Inc., a medical device start-up focused on patient vigilance for hospitalized patients in Med/Surg units. Prior to Hoana, he served as Vice President of Finance for Health Hero Network, which developed telemonitoring technology for the disease management industry. Additionally, Kevin served in various financial management roles at AmCell Corp, ChemTrak, Inc. and Syntex Corporation. Kevin received a B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

John Kane, Director – Engineering
As employee number one at Dynatherm Medical, John Kane has been involved in product development since the initial prototypes of the vitalHEAT™ system were designed by Aquarius Medical Corporation. He has recently driven the development of the vH2™ version of the vitalHEAT system designed for commercial production, and he has also been instrumental in establishing the company’s quality system. Prior to Dynatherm, John held senior engineering positions with Aquarius Medical Corporation, where he conceived of and developed a fluid management system for arthroscopic surgery. He started his career as a Mechanical Design Engineer for Texas Instruments, and then spent 11 years as Senior Design Engineer for Motorola Inc., where he designed state-of-the-art communication equipment for the U.S. Army and Air Force. John has been awarded several patents. He received a B.S.M.E. from Northern Arizona University.
